How do I create folders on my iPhone to store and organize my apps?

After downloading many apps for your iPhone, you may notice that you have to scroll across many screens to find what you’re looking for.  In order to simplify and organize things, you can create folders to store your apps, for example, by category/type.

To create a folder, press and hold your finger on an app you want to create a folder for and drag it onto another app you want to be in the same folder/category.  Release your finger and drop it on top of the selection.  Upon doing so, you will be prompted to name the folder.  It will default to the app type, but you can change it to anything you’d like.

Once you create the folder, you can add other selections to it by dragging them into the folder.  There is a maximum of 9 apps that can be stored in each folder.

Repeat this process as needed to reduce the clutter on your iPhone.  Enjoy!
