How do I check the status of my LSI 53C1030 RAID controller?

To check the status of your LSI 53C1030 RAID controller, you can try using a utility from IBM called RaidMan or the ipssend command from IBM’s dumplog package.

To download dumplog visit the IBM website below:

http://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/docdisplay?brand=5000008&lndocid=MIGR-4UD223

Once you download the zip file for the appropriate OS, you can unzip it and run ipssend.

Below is an example of how to run ipssend.

# ipssend getconfig 1
