How do I find my MAC address on my Windows XP or Windows 2000 desktop?

Finding your MAC address on a Windows desktop is a pretty simple process.

Follow the steps listed below to find your MAC address.

Start => Run => Type “command” => Type “ipconfig /all”

The output will display several lines of information. Look for the line that contains “Physical Address”.

The alphanumeric numbers on the right-hand side is known as your MAC address.

An example is 00-25-00-D6-10-D6
