How do I view an upcoming schedule for NetBackup from the command line?

To view the upcoming schedule for a specific client, a specific policy, or just in general, you can use the nbpemreq command.

It allows you to review a schedule to confirm that things are working as expected.

To view the backup schedule for 12/18/2010, you can use this command:

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbpemreq -predict -date 12/18/2010 00:00:01

To view the backup schedule for testclient only:

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbpemreq -predict -date 12/18/2010 00:00:01 -client_filter testclient

Predicted work assuming no job run between now and Sat Dec 18 00:00:01 2010
rl client policy schedule type
— ——————– ——————– ——————– ———-
01 testclient test_weekly Full 0
